Set dancing classes wrapup

On Thursday the 20th of April we had our last set dancing class and we have now receded back into the shadows giving way to the long summer evenings cutting grass or saving turf, etc, etc or what ever keeps you out of trouble these days.

We had a great turnout with 4 sets on the floor at any given time and that together with different party pieces from many characters made for a very entertaining night.

A big thanks to Norah Carroll for steering us through the winter months with quick wit and plenty of laughter and we are looking forward to doing it all again in September 😉

On our final night coincided with a fund raiser for Sinéad Greene who is travelling to Calcutta with a group of teachers for 6 weeks on a voluntary basis to offer teaching support to those in need, over €400 was raised on the night and a big thank you to all in attendance for their generosity.

So we wish the best of luck to Sinéad on her trip.
