Offaly County Board Awards 2014
Congratulations to all the musicians, singers, dancers and gaeilgeoir’s who were honored at the Offaly Co Board awards night that took place in the Bridge house on Sunday 19th Oct, the event was aired live on Midlands Radio 3 Coppers & Brass program.
A testament to the strength and depth of our vibrant cultural tradition that exists in Offaly was the fact that the 2 hr radio program was not able to cover live performances from all who were honored and so Padraig had to make recordings which will be aired during the program next Sunday.
All Ireland Bosca Ceoil / Button Accordion (O18) champion Michael Curran was on hand to present the awards to everybody who qualified for Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann.
