Fleadh Cheoil Uíbh Fhailí 2015
This years fleadh was hosted by Killeigh Comhaltas on the 8th, 9th & 10th of May.
Congratulations to all our members and friends who took part in last weekends Offaly fleadh, Rahan enjoyed successes in 61 different categories which is no mean feat to achieve in one of the toughest fleadhs (over 800 entries) in the country to qualify out of these days. We were well represented in a wide variety of disciplines from Comhrá Gaeilge, Instrumental music, Song and Dance which shows the strength and depth of our culture we have in this part of the county.

Music and Dance Lessons
Music and Dance classes last term before Summer break.
The lessons will reconvene on Friday April 17th after the Easter break and so we are down to the last 2 weeks.
Remember that instruments which are on hire are due back on Friday the 24th after class.

Rahan Drama 2015
Congratulations to Betty Digan, Liam Byrne and all the cast and crew of Rahan Drama on their mega successful production of a hilarious comedy “Wake in the West”. A well written play is only half the battle you need a crackin cast to tell the story and boy did they pull it off, I don’t know how the corpse Liam Byrne could lie straight in the bed without breaking into hysterics and as for Dr Murphy, there aint nobody who can milk a game of charades like this gal. well done to them all.
