Workshops at Leinster Fleadh Cheoil 2014

MUSIC WORKSHOPS AT THIS YEAR’S LEINSTER FLEADH CHEOIL WILL TAKE PLACE ON WEDNESDAY, 9TH JULY

Location:  MOATE COMMUNITY SCHOOL

Times: COMMENCING AT 11AM SHARP AND FINISHING AT 4PM.

(LUNCH 1-2PM AND THOSE TAKING PART IN WORKSHOPS SHOULD BRING A PACKED LUNCH)

Workshops will be held for the following instruments: whistle, flute, fiddle, banjo and button accordion.

Tutors:

Brian Hughes (Kildare) :   Whistle

Robert Harvey (Laois)    :  Flute

Rhona Lynch (Offaly)     :  Fiddle

John Byrne (Westmeath): Banjo

Sharon Connell (Galway): Button Accordion

 

Anyone interested in taking part in the workshops MUST be up to jig and reel playing standard. (Intermediate and Advanced players)

A maximum of 8 people in each workshop.

Workshops cost €20 per person and it is advised to pre-book your place for the workshops.
